I think that the market of users will decide. I assume the best of intention for the module author. The proof of it's usefulness (presumably due to it's tiny footprint) is that it will get used. In the case of HTTP::Tiny, it was used so heavily that it was rolled into core. Also note, there are ::Fast, ::PP (pure Perl), and ::XS traditions as well, for example: Class::Accessor::Fast, Date::Pcalc, JSON::PP/ JSON::XS.

<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
