Hi likbez,
I personally don't care for any of the concerns you've raised, but I do commend you for your thoughts, efforts and energy. The one thing I would like to see is that perl starts stringifying floating point values in a sane and intelligent way, as (eg) python3 does. But I doubt that will ever happen, either. OTOH, trying to work around perl's laughable efforts in this area has provided me with many challenging and enlightening exercises ... so maybe I should just be grateful to perl for being what it is. Cheers, Rob In reply to Re: What esteemed monks think about changes necessary/desirable in Perl 7 outside of OO staff
