Perl is simultaneously 23rd most loved and 3rd most dreaded.
Perl is also tied in 4th place, with Kotlin, Ruby and Rust, in highest paying in the US and first overall, tied with Scala.

have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
