There seem to be over 20,000 initiates and less than 1200 novices. That suggests to me that there are a lot of monks who checked in once to ask a question or just looked around and never came back. It seems there could be a lot server time used searching through those inactive/never used accounts.

If the accounts are stored on the server in any kind of order then perhaps, once in a while, reordering them by "last here" could reduce that search time by quite a bit.

Or it may not be a problem at all. What do I know? :)
