I created a patch to CSS-ify reply text. I didn't create a patch for the sitewide stylesheet because I'm lazy. Good idea, though svsingh!

But as another suggestion you could try to create your very own custom CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) file. This can be added via your user settings page. For more info do a search on CSS either here at the monastery (in the search box provided above) or google.

This is the approach I used and works very well.

PS: It's a joke. And yes, I know that CTRL+ (or should I say CTRL++) is a combination that increases the font in Mozilla (and possibly in other browsers like Opera). :)

Actually it does if you use the keypad +/- instead of the ones next to backspace. Also in Opera, you can use other keypad number keys to increase/decrease displayed page size.

In IE select Tools / Internet Options... / Accessibility... (button on lower-right), and then with _great_ satisfaction check "Ignore font sizes specified on web pages".   I actually run like this all the time, though you might just want to do it for a few (self-selected, in a way) sites.

I got over any possible negative associations with using an "Accessibility" feature long ago, figuring I'm just counter-balancing the "inaccessibility" features the web developers indulged in.
