I guessed (s)he was just printing a hashref without dereferencing it but reserved comment (until now)

The error you suggest would result in Package_name=HASH(0x000000)->method being printed.

    Very true. Since the OP didn't give a lot of info, I was just guessing, as I said. The OP didn't provide actual output, just a 'description' of sorts. It seemed to me reasonable that something like 'CGI=HASH(0x1234)->header' was printed, but the OP chose to only mention the 'HASH(0x1234)->' part, since that looks like greek to most people. But since no code and no actual output was given, it's all guesswork.
