My favorite 404 ever was (is?) the haiku found on some of the mit.edu servers: I ate your Web page. Forgive me. It was juicy And tart on my tongue. -- am	[reply]

I once came across this douglas-adams-marvin-style 404. I just made a google search for `404 "I'm so depressed"`, and found several pages with slightly differing versions of that, most of them in an annoying javascript-scroller-textarea, but take a look at http://www.alphaque.com/article.php?sid=56. daniel.
