The best solution that came up from Refreshing the Current Node was to hit the "talk" button in the Chatterbox. (Thanks again Nuke!) That reloads the current page. It won't help you figure out the node ID of the page you're looking at, but it's a decent fix and certainly better than going back to The Monastery Gates and then browsing back to the article.

Valdez mentioned his patch was rejected. Not sure why, but that's the status of that.

    Yeah, I saw that option. The problem with that is it still doesn't give you a URL that you could cut-n-paste or bookmark - it still returns index.pl.

    Sorry, should have mentioned that in the root node (which I now realise is an exercise in incoherent ramblings).
