Interesting approach. I considered a similar statistical method earlier but the problem is, what if neither tester finds a bug? Mind you, if that's the case after a month of testing the code would probably be satisfactory for most purposes :)

    If 90% of the sidewalk is covered by potholes, what's the odds of you walking on it "randomly" after a month without walking into a pothole?

    To be fair, how you "randomly" select something for testing or sampling purpose could be rather technical, but the basic concept remains.
