donno20 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi monks,
I am developing a script to get data from a web server. But before this I have to login the webpage.
Can I use LWP to do the login and then do a web query again upon login success ?
Thanks for sharing.. ^_^

Check out WWW::Mechanize. If you want to develop the login scheme really really quickly, check out WWW::Mechanize::Shell.

    Hope this helps.
