merlyn has talked about writing an aricle/guide/whatever on how to setup Template Toolkit 2 in a mod_perl environment to replace php.
It will take more than an article or even a book. The masses want simple things. They don't even like to read. What is needed is an easy-to-use software tool that would set up such an environment with minimal prerequisites and effort.
