Just for recreational curiosity. Data fetched from BigMonkMap and PerlMonks, as of 7/16/2003.
Only monks on the Map were included, so it's a self-selected sample, not a good
random sampling. Not sure if the statistics already available somewhere but here they are anyway.
- Region A: longitude180W - 30W, i.e. Americas, etc.
- Region B: longitude 30W - 60E, i.e. Europe, Africa, Middle East,
etc.
- Region C: longitude 60E - 180E, i.e. Asia, Oceania, etc.
You should be glad you don't miss out anything no matter where you live...
... you still get the same mature experienced monks (mature for programmers, that is, many of whom would probably have exhausted to death by 40).
Just for the fun of it. (Region C has too small a sample size.)
