A few awards were presented at OSCON on Tuesday evening. The Perl Foundation made the annual White Camel Awards for work benefiting the Perl community. These went to Andreas Koenig, Jarkko Hietaniemi and Robert Spiers. Then ActiveState announced the winners of their ActiveAwards. Tim Bunce won the Perl category in the Programmers' Choice section and Ilya Zakharevich won the Perl category in the Activators' Choice section. Congratulations to all the winners.
