    Hi zby!

Can you please tell me, is there a way to subsribe and get notified of changes in 'subscribed' threads currently? I'm a bit lost..

There is not a way to subscribe to a Perlmonks thread and be notified of changes. One option is to periodically check in at Newest Nodes.

That may not be an option you like, but the fact remains that there is no mechanism in place for pushing notification to you when a thread receives activity.

Yes, Newest Nodes will not help -- suppose I just noticed some thread and decided to look at it, but was unable to visit the site for a week or more. Is it too much work to create something similar to "root says You've got a reply to..." and display it in a separate nodelet?
