As a temporary solution, if you set Override <readmore> tags in your User Settings, it will apply to your printed nodes.

The drawback is that it will expand readmore tags in normal display as well.

If you can live with that, you may fulfill your needs without challenging pmdev's laziness and impatience. ;)

    thanks, gmax. I think I can live with it, but I wonder if browsing with the Override <readmore> tags turned on is an unnecessary waste of PM's horsepower and bandwidth :-)

    OTOH, I could investigate some sort of quick command line script to change my setting from "don't override" to "override" when I need to print from the Monastery. I will look into it...
