From memory, I think I installed the Net::SSLeay package which is available via PPM and then it 'just worked'.
Unfortunately, SSLeay hasn't been available from ActiveState for several weeks. ActiveState's CPAN build reports show that they're unable to build it. This happened a while back with some of the database drivers--they were unavailable for several weeks before reappearing. I hope the same happens with Net::SSLeay.
