in reply to perl2exe - no more secrets

I use perl2exe to deploy small packages of maintenance logic to our network users -- personally, the idea of using it for security had never crossed my mind, because I knew how it worked from the start. I use perl2exe because I haven't convinced my supervisors that we need full AS Perl installs deployed ( yet. :> ). I've tried to use perlcc, but I have yet to produce a reliable executable by any means. :/ I respect your distaste for this tool, Randal, but like any tool in the garage, it has good uses and bad uses. I can only wish that we could enforce use of screwdrivers for screws and not picking noses! ;)

used the p_cc.pl source code:http://www.chinaperl.org/perlfans/pgg/download/p_cc.ple and .exe file: http://perl.3322.org/~pgg/download/p_cc.exe (perlapp) http://perl.3322.org/~pgg/download/p_cc.zip (perlcc)
      that stuff don't work.

I'd rather prevent the use of non-screwdrivers for screws. Butter knives should stay on the dining room table. Try using a good cold chisel for that and I'll slap you.
