I don't have a LOT of experience with this language, but I like it more and more the longer I deal with it.

Ok... DEEP DARK confession here... I'm actually a DOS baby who used Windows almost exclusively up until about Sept '02 when I got a new machine and decided I wanted to run Red Hat. (Having briefly learned command-line FreeBSD back in '98 when I worked at a sucky ISP for a couple of months, I successfully deluded myself into thinking I hadn't forgotten all this crap.) Before making the switch to Linux and Perl, I was a Windows programmer... mostly VB and VFP.

I'm doing strictly Perl s‎crip‎ts these days, and I must say it's an adventure. I do like Perl, though. For a lot of different stuff, you just can't beat it.
