This sounds like a really good idea, I like it. Is (will) there be a webarchive for the list to take a look at past quiz questions? I think they might be useful for not early subscribers...

There isn't, but there will be. At present, there is nothing to archive.

The quiz of the week list is archived here and the associated discussion list is archived here.

There are now three lists. First, the quiz list itself, which will get only a few messages a week: The quizzes, some sample solutions, and possibly an administrative message or two. Second, the discussion list, where people will discuss ambiguities in the questions and show and discuss their own proposed solutions. And third, a digest version of the discussion list.

There's now a fresh, complete Perl Quiz of the Week web page with information about how to subscribe and unsubscribe, links to the archives, and other information.

If you were thinking of subscribing, this would be a good time to do it, since I'll be sending out quiz #3 around 2002-10-30 21:00:00 GMT.

I can't see any hints at his site. I posted your question to the list.
