Timezone on nodes is configurable
If it is, I haven't been able to get it working correctly... They always seem to correspond to the America/New_York timezone for me. In tye's latest report it looks like they should be configurable, but are still somewhat broken.

Anyway, we'll use America/New_York (i.e. localtime on the perlmonks server) as our metric.

Update: Ok, I see it now. If you pick a timezone such as GMT+0 the node timestamp does change... If you use the Timezone Settings to set your preference the timestamp defaults to the servers localtime.

However, the createtime field in the xml feed is not affected by your user settings, so perhaps it should be the definitive time for our purposes.
