Gah! What gives? Even though this has apparently just started, I see that there are 33 Java people signed up and only 9 Perl people. Fully 33% of the Perl people are from Portland :) Call this community? Sure Java programmers outnumber us, but we're family here, right?

    No, 13 now ( including me : ] ) although nobody from the Bay Area that I can see. : (

    Not that I'm not willing to go to London for International Perl Day...

    Some people fall from grace. I prefer a running start...

    Well, you can see the language is popular worldwide. There are 31 signed up as I write this, from all over creation. Including one of my neighbors. Yeah!

    It's also nice to see tilly on the list, saying, "Yes, I live".
