in reply to Perl - Is it an OO Language

At the end, you need a programmer that is OO. I personally think a good programmer can create an OO program in a not 100% OO language.

Like BrowserUk says, a bad programmer can also make a mess with a 'true' OO language. In that way, an OO language is not holy.

The idea behind OO is, as i think of it, to create easily reusable good documented pluggable peaces of software. OO is a way of thinking and not dependable on the tool you use (though the tool can make things easier ofcourse).
