mass/batch downloading of html emails (yahoo)

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi, Someone pointed me to this place after I bothered enough people asking this question: How can I batch download all my emails from my yahoo account without using pop3 (since they now ask $30 for such a thing)? The one who pointed me here and then hurridely disappeared, suggested that a script could do that work. It seems quite wrong that I should have to spend 150 hours manually saving all those emails when it would only take a few minutes if they were all downloaded in a lump, and I mean on a 56k. Thanks to anyone who can help me =) Oh, I know nothing of perl, sigh, which is why I am rather stuck and asking for a big help. Rat (ratpool@yahoo.com)
