DDD debugger for perl

Ras has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi, does anyone know how to get the DDD debugger to work
for perl? or does anyone know where i can find a good
web page that can help me with this? thanks

    Last time I did it, there was no trick. I just started up a perl script using the DDD GUI.

    I found DDD to be really slow, so I switched to ptkdb. It does the same stuff and worked better for me.

    I found the DDD manual covered this topic well enough. Did you find it confusing?
