    I never said you weren't right...

    The point that mirod was making was that Python is more succinct is areas, and Perl is more succinct in others. So he picked a bad example, and uninformed example, so what? You've never made a mistake? You attacked (yes, I used that on purpose) the language that this site supports. Of course people that don't know Python, but love Perl, will take the defensive.

    By the way, if I posted your exact message in a Python community with all of your arguments reversed, I bet I would be flamed, just like you got here.

    Dragging back an analogy, try going to France and telling them that their language is not as good as English because you have to put le, la, or les on the front of all the nouns. How stupid is that? Get a modern, real language. I'll send the body bag....
