Hi
I think that changing hyperlinks is a seperate matter than other changes in flash.
If you can live without Flash and want to use generated flash like things, try SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). hackmare has some more information on it. Also look at Perl Generaetd SVG

I've written a fair amount of SVG. It's great in that it transforms doing graphics (which I am terrible at) into math and programming (which I am decent at). The problem is that almost no browsers will render it. You have to render it on the server.
