Review of Learning Perl III by Adult Video News online

You know perl has made it when a review of Llama II is a featured article on AVNonline... the adult video news website for pornography webmasters :) In Anna Cahnda's review of Learning Perl, IIIrd edition, they compare and contrast it to previous editions, as well as just praise perl in general. With quotes such as:
Although it began as a lowly tool for Unix system administrators, Perl has become a robust, full-featured programming language used for Web programming, database manipulation, and XML processing.
It's good to know that at least the adult industry appreciates perl... hm... pornographers and monks, I wonder when the last time those two social orders were hand in hand in agreement :)

So I assume my invitation to the "First Annual Porn Stars & Perl Monks Gala Ball" is on the way. Who knows what we can learn from each other? Besides, porn stars follow TMTOWTDI just as much as we do!

    Thanks for the pointer.

(Ugh, almost anything I type here could be misinterpreted!)

I did forward that URL off to my O'Reilly editor... who knows, maybe it'll end up in the links from the online catalog!

The question on everyone's mind right now is... uhm nevermind... we don't really wanna know :))
Anyway, there is a review for Camel3 too (altho I wasn't bold enough to actually click on THAT link).

    Well, I don't know about "hand in hand" . . . but, um, uh . . . nevermind.
