That's a bit weird because I, too, felt that the very same hole needed to be poked. If you feel that I'm in the wrong here On the contrary, I expected that my statement "You aren't the only one" would have indicated my agreement with your stance. My suggestion that sundialsvc4 and TheloniusMonk are one and the same was put forward as a possible explanation of your (and my) inability to understand TheloniusMonk's point. But I was assuming that, like me, no-one else could ever understand sundialsvc4 ... I can sometimes assume too much ;-) Cheers, Rob	[reply]

Ummm ... it looks to me that this is in response to the post that I made. I meant I was poking a hole in the first sentence of this post - are we talking about the same thing here? :-) On the contrary, I expected that my statement "You aren't the only one" would have indicated my agreement with your stance. Yes, sorry, I apparently kind of skipped that and focused too much on the other two paragraphs - it seemed to me like you might be comparing my post to some of the vitriol that's happened here, which I disagreed with (Update: or rather, I was hoping I wasn't being that bad...). And I'm still not going to engage in that other speculation ;-)	[reply]

I was the first to draw a connection Re^5: Proportional distribution of indivisible items ... Though it's futile to speculate about identities in an online board. Use duck-typing of the posts, if they are of poor quality downvote and avoid feeding. The new -7-filter will do the rest. OK so I confess that I originally rejected the XOR rather quickly. But I just didn't see the point in using an algorithm that was potentially inferior to the old one given that it had potential unresearched loopholes. Meanwhile after more consideration of the xor insead of modulo, I found a loophole (see elsewhere in thread)	[reply]

No, it's all answered elsewhere in thread. But perhaps I should answer less! I do have other things to do, you know.
