"Technical questions that don’t actually get answered"
This is describes most of your posts.
"proffered answers that get deleted(!) due to internecine politic"
No they don't.
"newbies who apologize for having bothered"
Whereas you have told people “I’d kick your a*s right down the river and order you to rewrite it immediately.” for having contributed something "clever", despite the fact that you yourself don't know how comments work in perl.
It'll come as no surprise to anyone that you've posted again with the expectations that others should do as you say and not as you do. Always blame everyone else, when you're the worst user this site has ever had. Everything you complain about, you're the worst offender.

you're the worst user this site has ever had
I'm not sure I'd go that far. We've had some real stinkers in the past. People who not only had shaky technical chops, but who actively, aggressively sought to sow discord and havoc in the monastery. I'm not going to name names, for what I hope are obvious reasons.
I reckon we are the only monastery ever to have a dungeon stuffed with 16 ,000 zombies.

Decorum suggests I don’t tear your post apart and marto hit the highlights; but did leave plenty of meat on the bone.
You probably think you’re doing us a favor, but the one you’re really helping is yourself. If you can reframe it in your mind to know that, instead of blame others, you’ll have an easier time.

Both camps seem to lose some dead weight today.
Instead of a farewell speech, I think this poem contains some appropriate lines (highlight wisely).
Steps
As every blossom is doomed to decay, and youth
gives way to the old age, every stage of life,
every wisdom, every virtue has its prime
in due course and must not last forever.
At each call of life the heart needs to be
prepared to take farewell and to restart,
with fortitude and without grief,
daring new and different bonds.
And magic dwells in each beginning
to shelter us, to help us to live on.
We shall move from room through room all cheerfully
and cling to none as to a home.
This world’s spirit has no wish to chain or to constrain –
but to raise us higher, step by step, all widening.
Scarce are we endemic to a sphere of life,
accustomed to convenience, we slacken.
Only he who is ready and aiming for departure and travels
will free himself, unravel habituation, laming.
The hour of death might even
sent us emergent to new spheres.
Life’s call on us will never cease…
now then, oh heart, take leave and heal.
Poem by Hermann Hesse translated from the original
source
by some gifted person
on the Internet.

I do remember that extended period where it seemed like he was gone for good;
and inwardly groaning when he reappeared.
In the event that happens again, there's plenty more mead for drowning one's sorrows;
however, that would be a more sombre affair,
not festooned in a jubilant overabundance of pointless textual adornments.

I'm wondering ... if all sock puppets here started a revolution, would they begin by guillotining hands?

The dilemma of the excessively intelligent person is always to expect to be misunderstood, ridiculed, put in the stocks and plastered with rotten food, forced to watch tv, forced to use Windows -- oh dear, now I am getting carried away -- and then to have to decide whose fault is it, yours or theirs?
I believe that the acid test is that if you explain your position carefully in words chosen for the intended audience you might get better results. But if you still get bad results - you are either wrong or need to understand other people more. And if you didn't even take that step, then this is a third possible way it's your mistake and probably the most likely in this case.
