Sure, and I was obviously not referring to such monks. And especially not to you. I disagree with you on the subject, but that's OK for me: you and I are perfectly entitled to have our own diverging opinions on this, we just can't agree on everything.

    I agree totally. Apart from my concerns about the name, I see no harm in people using Rakudo for whatever reason. It doesn't meet my needs. It meets yours. We could say the same of a thousand technologies.
