in thread what is "milliBarr"?

What else needs to be known?
There's still the open question of what makes the coding style distinctive, so that one might know when it's appropriate to apply the label to code not written by Graham himself and/or how to identify code which the label doesn't apply to, even though it was written by Graham.
Do you think PM should be used to publicly criticize a CPAN author with working modules?
Where do you see any criticism of, well, anyone in the opening post of this thread? All I see there is "Hey, guys, I ran across a brief reference to an obscure inside joke. Can someone explain it?"

Did you read the linked blog post?

Just to cite two parts (I underlined criticism):

    • maintenance has become a burden. Most of the site is running 2005 era Perl code .
    • I patched it a number of times, but there was one problem I couldn't quite put my finger on so, I asked JHI, then the P5 Pumpking, to have a look and even he was bewildered. I wonder if his #WTF comment is still in there

But what I'd like to emphasize, is:

    • Graham won a White Camel award in 2002.
    • We would like to thank all who have assisted with this project. An extra special thanks to Graham for his hard work and unwavering support of search.cpan.org for all these years.
Yes, I did read the linked blog post. However, the initial post in this thread said absolutely nothing that could be reasonably construed as endorsing the content of the post (or the comments on it).
