The only language in wide currency today that I think is unequivocally bad is PHP. Haskell is a meme academic language but I would hesitate to call it "bad".

    Ha. Strangely enough, the first partly working implementation of Perl6 was written in Haskell by Perl luminary audreyt.

      I don't understand why people use that meme language when it makes basic tasks so difficult.

        I've never used it so I can't say. Audrey is smarter and a much better hacker than I am and put together a Perl6 compiler with it so I'm confident there is something in there. :P
