Vaping is much safer than mass produced cigarettes, it's helping smokers quit, and it's lowering adoption of smoking. There are scientific studies showing all three points.

Footnote: I neither vape nor smoke (anything). And have also, like just about everyone in the world, lost family to cancer caused by smoking.

I never argued that the tobacco industry did anything. I also never said e-cigs were completely without health detriments.
