It's installed in /usr/local in my case, but there's no pp in the bin folder. There's plenty of other stuff, but nothing I recognise as useful.

      Sorry for my ignorance, but I have no idea what a pdd file is. I don't see anything called that.

        Start from the beginning

        Install PAR::Packer, then post the complete installation log here

        Your search engine of choice would have made short work of finding you the answer to that. I suggest you spend some time understanding how the ActiveState installation works on your machine, better configure your profile to avoid the system perl (I've linked to a previous post of yours on this topic, which has related helpful responses). Taking the time to understand your chosen environment/setup and the previous responses would be beneficial.
