You never wrote a valid program in any programming language Yes, but in practising what he preaches - namely to do his very best to answer The Customer’s Question (as very best he can) and, gasp, give the Gentle Reader the Full Monty - at least he's posted some "extemporaneous" code (admittedly with C++ comments), and even a "quasi-perl sketch", once again using C++ comments.
