Perhaps they all finally figured out what a bad idea trying to abstract SQL is. There is nothing wrong with SQL.

Agreed, but given that I am working with a database ORM that uses SQL::Abstract to represent SQL queries and asked a specific question about it, your points are not relevant.	[reply]
