I also wanted to know why it is such big difference in the price and asked producer a question. Here is what they explained:

The board with Wifi 3 clik has mikroBus standard and written examples for their compilers, which makes it easier to use on all developing boards that support mikroBus standard. Also, they say, they give lifelong technical support for all their products. They have a growing community where their developers and users publish examples on all their products.

So, advanced users probably don't need any of that, but for less advanced maybe it could be useful.

I guess it depends, the existing boards have a large online community and vast numbers of code available, along with tutorials (one linked to previously, which pretty much does what you want). microBus seems like overkill to me, what's wrong with just using wires? Considering how few things you'll actually need to hook up to this to achieve your goal. To name but a few:

I do think that your comment makes much sense.

With that my feedback I've just wanted to let you know about their explanation. Personally I am not familiar with all that, without any experience and I lack bigger picture

Thanks for the links, I will look at these.

Sure, thanks for the reply. Whatever you end up doing it's your project, your money and your time, there's sometimes a trade off between time & money when it comes to these things. When getting into electronics/hardware it's wise to spend as much time as you can afford on research and planning before you decide to invest in the products.
