in thread Why aren't you using Google::API::Client?

How did you find out it is not popular? Did Google Discovery tell you through their services?

Naw, I inferred it from the fact that the author's repo has a couple unreleased bug fixes from May of '15.

I rediscovered one of the bugs over the weekend, so I was encouraging the author to make a new release, and I thought I'd post here to see if we can generate some more interest.

Hope he's not going to abandon it because it's really nice to have the same interface across multiple G services.

I've yet to find a need to use Google at an API level beyond their OAuth mess but unincorporated fixes just means Google::API::Client isn't popular with the author.

My hope was simply to raise the profile of this great tool.

I believe it isn't popular, based on my what I've seen. Perhaps my methodology there is flawed. I really don't care. My goal was not to prove that it's unpopular.
