Real software doesn't use file extensions at all.
Really?
- So your editor that looks at the extension to determine what syntax profile to use isn't "Real software"?
- Your C++ compiler that uses the file extension to determine whether to compile the file as C or C++ isn't "Real software"?
- gunzip gunzip: _831513.exp: unknown suffix -- ignored isn't "Real software".
- ...
What a pointless, valueless, meaningless statement.
