to succinctly capture the act of looking up the word after it is too late

Good point. Though, would that not lead to every option's bifurcation? Perhaps just one option for "after"? ... I added "I am afraid i used it incorrectly". Does that capture it well?

Nice story. :)

Some bifurcations are worse than others. ;-)

I'm fine with what you have. If you title case all the first person pronouns then the sentence will be perfect!

Thank you for humoring me. Also thank you for working on the polls, which I find provide nice "lateral" aspects to ponder.

I started with the lowercasing over a decade ago, and it's just what i do now. Though, as it may look strange (to others), i often restructure the sentence to remove it. I (re)formulated most of options to put "I" at the beginning of the option, but did not come up with decent alternatives for the two options that still have it. Suggestions are welcome. :) Regardless, this is only a poll idea, and the pronoun is usually changes case before going live. Indeed, only one ever made it:

You are most welcome. I too post what i ponder. I know techies like the intricate rules of language. It's a fun topic.

Perhaps better stated: Come for the perl, stay for the monks!
