The only change was the addition of this:

<h3>Edit the node</h3>

Since folks seem not to like it, I have removed it again. Thank you for the feedback!

    For completeness.

    what they didn't like was the confusion where the post ends.

    As I said, using a separating <hr> or placing the <h3> after the <br>s would help.

    A CSS class for the edit area (if possible) too, like this another bgcolor could be chosen.

    YMMV and I don't think styling is crucial ATM :)
