Do I want my mailbox filled with approval or frontage messages? Not sure...

You are welcome to implement this, but you should anticipate the outcry of people who want to filter those messages.

btw reaped posts are notified.

How about a setting "Receive notification on [] reaped posts [] approval [] approval in other sections than I intended" in your profile?

I wasn't thinking of moderation/consideration actions as changes. See RJE for examples of what I mean by changes.

Update: Fixed RJE link; thanks to LanX for noticing. :-)

Not sure what you mean, probably a typo?

      Update

Link was fixed, but please note it won't be accessible for non cabal users.

Good point. So, the kinds of changes which janitors can make to a monk's node, and which currently get logged in our "edit history" database table, are: title text edits, body text edits, and section moves. I'm suggesting that the owner of a node should get a notification whenever one of these changes is made.

(A few other kinds of changes get logged, but they're not of interest here because they apply to nodes not owned by non-administrative monks.)

I reckon we are the only monastery ever to have a dungeon stuffed with 16,000 zombies.
