I think # is faster to type but question mark is definitively more related to documentation. I'd go for it.

PS sorry i'v a bit misunderstood (question mark yet used for doclinks). # as for comments? or = as for POD?

      ..mmmh no the syntax must be described in one place, it is possible to add to the original post.

      But more important will be to change the wiki? text of the checkbox into a link to this post. Infact I asked to powers to add your wiki to the markup in the monastery docs but seems not so wide valid; a quick link always available to all wikisyntax users will be handy.

        Look I'm on holidays ATM so don't expect much activity now.

        There are currently only 4 monks using this extension, so I don't see the external need for more development, I.e. I'll plan it to fit my needs.

        Concerning the admins, this site is already very complicated, that's why they understandably avoid including more code.

        As I said before there is one killer feature, automatically introducing <p> tags for blank lines but this could be achieved otherwise.
