in thread create array of arrays from multiple files

Do you expect people to do your work for you? I don't think perlmonks is a code writing service.
So, with description and desired output, you needed put in some effort.
What have you done yourself and what errors are you getting? And where are you having issues?
Else, get yourself a programmer who you will pay for services given!

If you tell me, I'll forget.
If you show me, I'll remember.
if you involve me, I'll understand.

Sorry 2teez, but I think you're overreacting here, and I am taking the pain and the risk of saying this to you because I know that this is not your usual state of mind and that you are usually more helpful.

While there could certainly be some improvement in the OP, the OP did not ask for a ready-made solution but for some "tips".

There is nothing intrinsically difficult in what is being asked, basically a row-column transposition if I understood correctly, but there was certainly a time in the distant past where I would have found this to be a rather challenging task. And I would think that you and most other monks have also been beginners at some point and would have found this a difficult problem to solve.

I really don't understand your hostility here, especially from someone who is usually very helpful. I think the OP was quite polite, asking "Can you suggest how I should proceed?", "Am I thinking correct?", "Any tips?". Nowhere was it asked to write code. Perhaps just having a bad day, like we all do from time to time.

In counterpoint to most other replies, this one holds that while the first reply may not be among the clearest bits of help 2teez has ever posted, it scarcely justifies the suggestions that it was ill-tempered or less than helpful.

Consider the very top of the cited FAQ:

    Here's the short version:

If you want to get good answers: Paste actual code that reproduces the problem between <code> and </code> tags . State exactly what the problem is. Be precise about the correct behavior / desired output. Additional background about what you are trying to do and what you have tried also helps.

Is the answer too close to cryptic? Closer than I would like, maybe, but definitely not OT or trolling or even "off target." The cited FAQ says pretty much what 2teez' clarification at Re^3: create array of arrays from multiple files says... and it seems to me utterly reasonable to (gently) chastise those who come to PM and fail to heed our guidance on how best to request our help with their questions.

And to the anonymous author of Re^4: create array of arrays from multiple files (apparently not the AM of the original node): Pray don't confuse "brevity" with "hostility." This isn't brief, but were it a response to your note accusing 2teez of hostility, I might be indulging in a considerable measure of same.

Questions containing the words "doesn't work" (or their moral equivalent) will usually get a downvote from me unless accompanied by:
    1. code
    2. verbatim error and/or warning messages
    3. a coherent explanation of what "doesn't work actually means.
