Somewhat related. I wrote a feed parser, too. It indexes it and stores the feed data to frozen perl objects in a berekeley database. Or if you use my other module, to a relational database with SQL. http://search.cpan.org/~cjcollier/NIST-NVD/lib/NIST/NVD/Query.pm
