Background

I use to work for the Inso Corporation/eBT, an XML content management company. I ran their tech support desk for Europe, and though the product did not support Perl, I used Perl at every possibility to get things done. After that I worked for Alaris Medical/Cardinal Health/CareFusion/Becton Dickinson & Capgemini for nearly 17 years in total.

I now work for a boutique SAP consultant. This involves mostly SAP ECC ABAP programming and a little SAP PO/PI development. I don't do much with Perl these days...

Perl Stuff

I like Perl! Well you would hope so, seeing as I took time to join Perlmonks and write this bio here. I also like XML, you will note a lot of my nodes deal with Perl and XML, it's a bit of a hobby of mine.

I've done quite a bit of Perl/XML work, and found the [cpan://XML::LibXML] and [cpan://XML::LibXSLT] modules in particular very powerful. This node [id://140643] is a good example of the kind of work I'm interested it.

Blog and other work...

Everyone seems to have a blog, so not to be out done I have a blog on my server. My modules can be found over on CPAN: [cpan://XML::RSS::Tools], [cpan://Log::Trivial], [cpan://Config::Trivial] and [cpan://Config::Trivial::Storable].
