in thread How to uninstall perl module through cpan

Indeed they are. However, the age of Uninstall module counts somewhat in its favour in that it does not rely on cpanm or even a modern version of perl. The OP in this thread is extremely general so only the author can really say what is useful to them. After all they have not even said why they want to try uninstalling a module in the first place.

Perhaps there would be some value in adding a node to the old thread mentioning App::pmuninstall?

For clarity (lack of coffee, sorry) I wasn't suggesting there was no value in this method, just that times have change and tools have moved on. It is worth mentioning. Given OPs history using someone else’s automated tool may be preferable (easier?) than doing things manually and getting things wrong. For the record, I know of some people with vast Perl knowledge who don't touch cpan/cpanm and alike, preferring to do things manually. However, they know exactly what they're doing and how to fix things should they not go to plan.

    Update: terrible typo.
