in thread The problem of documenting complex modules.

Well, the code's installed, but there's no way to run the demo. Anyway, after a couple of dead ends, I finally figured out

That is funny, its another reason to visit http://search.cpan.org/dist/Wx-Demo/MANIFEST or turn on verbosity when installing stuff

Then you can notice wxperl_demo.pl

Yup, that wxperl_demo.pl isn't documented (doesn't have pod, not mentioned in readme/etc) is both funny and buggy. I reported it here Re: Lunching a demo with Wx::Demo and forgot about it,

wxperl_demo --show Report

wxperl_demo --show wxRibbonControl

Wow -- that's neat. It didn't occur to me to dig through the MANIFEST file, but I'll remember that for the next time. However, I think my point is still valid -- it's absolutely worthwhile to add something like my ten lines of Perl code to the documentation, so there's at least one example of how to get the code going.

Thanks PJ. We owe you so much. Groklaw -- RIP -- 2003 to 2013.
