Thanks for your reply. Just to clarify, there are no separators. The sequences are strings of As Ts Gs and Cs. For example (just cooking up something): >ID1 TAGCGAGCGAGCGAAC >ID2 GAGCTAGAGCATGAAT >ID3 GTACGACTAGCTACGGACTGACATCGGAC etc
