I routinely am logged in to the Monastery on multiple devices: my desktop system, a palm-top/lap-top, and a tablet. The only adverse effects I have seen are the occasional confused "I thought I voted on that Node already...." when I forget which machine I was/am on. A quick screen refresh puts me back in synch.
